About Chris Poer

Chris Poer has 20 years of professional experience in telecommunications and marketing services.

Conceived and founded iSupport Services (www.isupportservices.com) in 2009 to provide technology-based marketing and communications services to US-based enterprise clients.  Co-founder of Connexius in 2008 (www.connexius.com) offering next-generation Conferencing Services to us-based enterprises and communications service providers.

Prior to entering the world of entrepreneurship, Mr. Poer was VP Sales and Marketing for Iperia, a leading global provider of next-generation voice and messaging applications.   Prior to this position, he was vice president of sales responsible for the North American region. Prior to joining Iperia, Mr. Poer was EVP of Sales at Dynavar where he helped grow the sales from $7M to $50M prior to the company’s acquisition by Solunet in 2006.   Before Dynavar, he worked for Lucent where he was the Director of Business Development for their access and VoIP business unit.

Mr. Poer started his professional career with AT&T Bell Labs as a member of the technical staff responsible for hardware design for telephone loop test equipment.

Mr. Poer has a bachelors of science in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech University, master’s degree in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology and MBA from NYU in Marketing/International Business.
